I love kids! I've been babysitting since I was 11 years old, worked as a dance coach, a camp counselor, a Young Life Capernaum leader for special needs kids, was a T.A. in high school for SPED, a full-time nanny, and I now work at Queen Ka'ahumanu Elementary School.

I love being active and outdoors! Sports, swimming, hiking, a walk around the neighborhood, anything to get myself and the kids outside! I also love being creative and doing art projects with kids, whether it be painting or coloring or a trip to the library.

The most important part about being a nanny is being able to build a strong relationship with the children, where the kids can trust me, knowing I am there to love on them and guide them. A good nanny will soon feel like family!
My experience with special needs children...
I have a lot of experience with special needs children. I worked as a counselor for special needs camps, was a T.A. in high school for the SPED classrooms, got training and led Young Life Capernaum (YL for special needs) club, and served weekly at my Mclean Bible Church's special needs ministry. I currently work at Queen Ka'ahumanu Elementary School as a special education paraprofessional tutor.

I started to nanny full-time when I was 17 for my neighbor's kids, a little boy and a teenage girl. At first, the 13-year-old was not happy to have a nanny, but we became really close quickly and I became the "older sister she never had". Just watching her grow up these past two years and have her still come to me for advice and tell me stories, even after I've left for college, is so special to me!
