More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have over a year of babysitting experience and also worked as a teacher, which gave me a lot of hands-on experience caring for and guiding children. In addition, I volunteered at Urban Hope Church, where I helped with childcare during church services and events. Through teaching and babysitting, I’ve learned how to keep kids engaged, make learning fun, and create a safe, loving, and Christ-centered environment where they can grow and feel cared for.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love listening to their stories and hearing what’s on their minds — kids have the most creative thoughts! I enjoy playing games, reading books, doing crafts, singing songs, and spending time outdoors. I also like helping them with small learning activities and encouraging their curiosity while keeping things fun and lighthearted.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and nurturing environment where children feel cared for and valued. It’s not just about watching them — it’s about building trust, showing patience, and being present in every moment. I believe children need to feel loved, listened to, and encouraged to grow into their best selves. For me, being a nanny is a way to share kindness and reflect God’s love through the care I give.
My experience with special needs children...
I haven’t had extensive experience working with special needs children yet, but I have a caring and patient heart and am always willing to learn. Through my time as a teacher and babysitter, I’ve learned to be understanding of every child’s unique needs and to create a calm, supportive, and loving environment where all children feel valued and included.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments was when a little one I was caring for said, “I love playing with you,” and then added, “I need a hug from you.” It was the most heartwarming thing! Moments like that remind me how special it is to build trust and love with children — their honesty, warmth, and pure hearts always make my day brighter.
