A little bit about me

Hello, My name is Laurel, and I'm 22 years old. I have babysat for many different families over the years, but most of the child care experience I've gained has been through working as a preschool teacher. My experience in childcare started when I started volunteering with children at age 12, but I took on the role as a Sunday school Director In 2018. This position has taught me how to work with a variety of different age groups, from infant to middle school. I learned how to engage children in activities and lessons and keep/enforce consistent rules and guidelines. In 2020 I began working as preschool teacher where I worked with children 18 months old - 5 years old.

I love working with children, and creating a consistent structure that they can't build confidence in, while also following their lead and creating fun memorable experiences for them. I love to help children learn and grow whether through their development stages or in their own interests and hobbies.
