Chris
"Lauren worked for me and my family part time in 2020-2022 until we relocated. She is very hardworking and went above and beyond. While my children were napping she didn't just sit there on her phone, but instead was always helping with chores around the house. She took my kids out all the time, libraries and museums. She came up with cool activities and projects and taught my kids to help with cooking. I loved coming home to smiling faces and a clean house. I highly recommend her."

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

My leadership experience includes serving as the Leader of a Daisy Girl Scout group in Ithaca, NY, and as the Head Volunteer Coordinator at the Cross D-Bar Ranch in Westcliffe, CO, which offered outdoor programs for various organizations assisting children with special needs throughout Colorado. Currently, I volunteer with several non-profit organizations in Colorado, including JeffCO Eats, the Denver and Aurora Public Libraries, Friend’s Helping Horses, the Colorado Railroad Museum, the Colorado History Center, Reading Partners of Colorado, and The Family Tree.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I am currently a Member of the Colorado Museums that Include; The Child’s Museum, The Denver Zoo, The Botanical Gardens, The Nature & Science Museum, The Museum of Miniatures, Dolls, and Toys, The Art Museum, and I also have a State Park Pass. All of which would be available at no charge while I am with your family. I adore the library and the reading groups they offer during the morning hours. If the weather is permitting, we will be playing outside, enjoying a walk, or one of the many parks and playgrounds that Colorado has to offer.!

The most important part about being a nanny...

To perform childcare in a reliable and respectable manner using guidance, patience, and a moral-based background to build a relationship of trust with you, your family, and your home. I am devoted to child development and believe that the only way to successfully accomplish this is by imitating the order of home life that you have already created.

My experience with special needs children...

I have extensive experience working with special needs children, both independently with families and through volunteer work. I am educated in ABA work and currently I am volunteering with The Reading Partners of Colorado and The Family Tree, where I have had the opportunity to provide support and assistance to children with diverse autism spectrum conditions, and some who have also experienced domestic violence within the home. Additionally, I am educated and registered as a Behavioral Technician, equipped with the skills and knowledge to effectively engage and support children with special needs in their development.
