I have been a nanny during the summers in my hometown for twin 9-year-old girls, also volunteer twice a week watching individuals with special needs aged 18-45, also helped with student teaching in the special education classroom senior year in high school. I have also grown up doing multiple different babysitting jobs!

My experience with special needs children...
all senior year i worked in the autism classroom at my school, also worked in PE class with students with all types of disabilities, volunteered twice a week for 4 hours each day with people with special needs aged 14-40, and did devotions and helped them eat dinner as well as hung out with them and made sure they were having a good time!
The most important part about being a nanny...
One time, I was nannying for two twin girls and we let their dog out into the back yard for about 20 minutes, then we went to go let the dog back in and it turns out that the dog dug a hole in the ground and escaped the yard so then I and the girls went on a "super spy mission" and dressed up in all black and went on a hunt through the whole neighborhood to find the dog and after about 10 minutes of searching and "spying" we did find the dog and then we laughed about this moment and this day all summer long! SO fun.
