I worked as a swim instructor for about a year, teaching children ranging in age from 8 months to 12 years old. For the past three summers, I’ve also worked as a camp counselor. In addition, I’ve been babysitting for multiple families for about 2 and a half years, including three with newborns.

When I worked as a swim instructor, I had the joy of teaching two students with special needs. One who was nonverbal and another who faced behavioral challenges. It was a rewarding experience that taught me patience, creativity, and the power of connection beyond words.
