I've been babysitting for years and have had some amazing experiences doing so. As a Teaching Assistant, I taught science lessons to elementary and middle school children and worked with the teaching team to create fun and effective lesson plans. When I was teaching English as a second language to students in Spain, I got to lead discussions, create lesson plans, and grade homework - it was a blast! I also volunteered with Amigos de las Americas, where I taught kids about youth leadership in partnership with PLAN International.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I really enjoy doing arts and crafts and playing outside with kids. However, what I love most is getting to join in on their favorite activities. There's nothing quite like seeing their faces light up when they get to do what they love, and it's so rewarding to be a part of that joy and excitement.
