She’s been so flexible with my crazy work schedule and makes everything a ton of fun, whether it be going to target, the zoo, or days at the park! I spent time (around 7 months) as a volunteer para-professional in an Early Childhood Special Education classroom that was also a Pre-K classroom! I worked with kids as young as 2 and as old as 6 doing activities such as art projects, sensory exposure as well as independent play!

I love being outside, especially in the summer so taking the kids to the pool as well as the park are always a favorite of mine! I love to play alongside the kids as well as engage with the kids to help increase their confidence playing independently! I am also a huge fan of sensory bins, so on the colder days I love to help create sensory bins and create an engaging experience for everyone!

My most memorable moment was this past fall spending time with my 3 year old client and practicing his sign language. His mom introduced it as a form of communication when he was speaking and continues to use it. I am not fluent in ASL, however, brush up on it and have started learning more signs to use and teach to this sweet boy!
