More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
My experience with children begins with being a mother, where I’ve learned the importance of patience, nurturing, and creating a safe, loving environment for children to grow. I also have years of volunteer experience working with children through my church.
Professionally, I have been an elementary school teacher for five years, including roles as a reading intervention specialist and 5th, 4th, and 1st grade teacher. I bring experience supporting children’s learning, building routines, encouraging confidence, and creating engaging activities that help children thrive.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love creating meaningful, engaging experiences that help children learn and explore. Some of my favorite activities include reading aloud, arts and crafts, baking, nature walks, outdoor play, simple science activities, imaginative play, and hands-on learning activities.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and nurturing environment where a child feels truly known and cared for. As a mother, I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your child. I believe children thrive when they feel secure, valued, and encouraged to explore the world around them.
After welcoming my newborn, I have chosen to pursue nannying as a way to spend this special season at home with my baby while also supporting another family. I love the opportunity to combine my experience as a mother and educator to provide thoughtful, intentional care for children.
To me, being a nanny is about more than supervision—it is about building relationships, partnering with parents, and helping children grow through love, patience, learning, and everyday moments.

My experience with special needs children...
I have experience supporting children with a variety of learning needs through my years as an elementary school teacher and reading intervention specialist. I have worked with students with IEPs, learning differences, developmental needs, and varying academic and behavioral needs.
My teaching experience has helped me develop patience, flexibility, and the ability to meet children where they are while creating a supportive and encouraging environment. I believe every child deserves to feel understood, valued, and capable of success.

Hi, I’m Ashley! I believe the best nannies become an extension of the family, and that’s exactly the role I’ve had the privilege of filling for the past three years. Working for a single father taught me the importance of being dependable, proactive, and creating a calm, loving environment where children can thrive. I enjoy planning outdoor adventures, arts and crafts, reading, and activities that encourage curiosity and confidence. Whether I’m helping with school routines, after-school activities, household organization, or simply being a trusted, caring presence, my goal is to make life a little easier for parents while creating happy childhood memories. I’m looking for a family where I can build a long-term relationship and provide the same level of care, dedication, and support that I brought to my previous family.
