A little bit about me

Hi! My name is lauren, and I’m a 20-year-old nanny originally from Maryland that with 5 years of experience caring for children of all ages, from infants to school-aged kids. I have a special love for newborns and truly enjoy nurturing and supporting their early development. Being around little ones has always felt natural to me, and I dream of becoming a mom one day.

I bring a calm, caring presence to any home, and I’m passionate about creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children. I’m also very active — I love spending time at the pool or beach, and I enjoy incorporating outdoor play and sunshine into the daily routine when possible. Fun fact: my favorite color is yellow — I think it reflects my warm and cheerful personality!

I’d love the opportunity to bring my experience and energy to a family who values genuine care and connection.

More About Me

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

While nannying children, I enjoy creating a fun and active environment that keeps them engaged and happy. One of our favorite activities is spending time at the pool, where we play games, practice safe swimming, and cool off on warm days. I also love organizing creative projects like arts and crafts, reading books together, and encouraging imaginative play. Whether we’re outside, in the pool, or doing something educational, I always aim to create a safe, supportive, and enjoyable experience for the kids.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny is building a strong, trusting relationship with the children and their families. Creating a safe, supportive, and loving environment where children feel heard and valued is key. It’s not just about keeping them entertained, but also guiding them through their development by offering emotional support, setting healthy boundaries, and fostering independence. As a nanny, I aim to be a positive role model who encourages growth, kindness, and curiosity, all while being reliable, patient, and flexible to meet the family’s unique needs.
