More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have lots of experience with children! I used to work at a Milestones daycare, during my time there I was a teacher in the outdoor classroom. We call it the outdoor classroom because we have a garage door connected and our main focus is to have kids outside as much we can and to constantly be learning hands on. I got my chauffeurs license because we took our kids on field trips three to four times a weeks to keep them busy when we were not exploring in the classroom. We went to the library a lot, I taught them how to fish, went to the zoo, Saugatuck sand dunes, went to parks all across west Michigan, aquatic centers, and more. I have also nannied for a few different families, kids ranging from new born to 10 years old.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I am very dedicated to being hands on with children and am usually outside most of the day! I make sure t.v. time is a minimum. I love exploring and going on adventures with kids because it brings out their amazing imaginations:)
My experience with special needs children...
I am very experienced with special needs children! I go to a camp every summer volunteering as a camp counselor for special needed adults. During college, high school, middle and even 5th grade, I was very involved with the special needed program called Links.
