I also enjoy creative play like building with blocks, making up games, and doing little science or baking projects. I try to keep kids active, learning, and having fun while making sure they feel safe and supported!

The most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe, supportive, and trusting environment where children feel comfortable and cared for. It’s not just about watching them, it’s about building a positive relationship, being patient, and helping them learn and grow. I also think good communication with both the kids and their parents is really important so everyone feels confident and supported!

My favorite nanny moment was when I helped a child I was watching learn how to read a short book on their own for the first time. Seeing how excited and proud they were made me realize how much I love working with kids and being part of those little milestones. Moments like that are so rewarding and remind me why I’m studying to become a teacher!
