Indoors, I love reading stories, baking treats, doing arts and crafts, and playing games that help spark their imagination. Outdoors, I enjoy taking kids to the park, playing games like tag or soccer, doing sidewalk chalk, or having picnics and nature walks. I always try to make activities engaging, safe, and enjoyable while helping kids learn, explore, and have fun.
My experience with special needs children...
I have cared for my younger cousin, Tyler, who has a nonverbal form of autism, since he was a baby. He is now 8 years old, and I am one of the few people his parents trust to care for him. Through this experience, I’ve learned patience, understanding, and how to communicate in ways beyond words to make sure he feels safe and supported.
