Hey there! My name is Layla Wilson and I am currently looking for a family in need of some extra help. I adore children and have been great assistance to families in the past. Being 11 years older than my youngest sister, overtime I have really learned the importance of what we allow to influence/ be present in our little ones minds as they navigate growing up. There is no bigger reward than getting to be a positive and healthy part of a child's upbringing, and being able to teach them as they grow.
I spend the most of my time in the gym or library, learning as much as I can about the physical and mental wellbeing. I am looking for a family that I can help out in any way, and hopefully create connections that will last a lifetime! More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Excluding the many babysitting roles I have had in the past, I would say the role of being "big sister" has given me the most experience! I am much older than my younger sister, so I feel as though watching her grow up and helping her navigate through the transitional periods of childhood has given me a very wide perspective and immense knowledge on the development of children. I'm so thankful to have been given the chance to impact her in such a positive way whilst she's growing up, but am most grateful to have the opportunity to continue supporting other children and their families as well!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Activities that I find are most fulfilling for young minds are, building, hands on games, educational/interactive games, baking, swimming, taking walks (especially if you have pets!) ect. I find that it is best to keep young minds busy with hands on activities and engagement, rather than with screens.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny is being mindfull about the ideas/ activities you introduce, as all kids are very easily impacted. It is immensely important to always enter a home with a positive and confident game plan!
