Hi all! My name is Leah and I have been a nanny/worked in a professional career with kids for the past 7 years. I have had 3 long term families, one with 5 kiddos, ages 3-13 who I was with for two years, another with 3 littles ages under 8, for a year, and finally a newborn for a year! I have worked with children/youth throughout my professional career and love what I do! I have my own car, am CPR/first-aid/Qmap certified, have early childhood education certifications, and have worked with kiddos aged 8 weeks to 13 years old! I hold a BA from University of Northern Colorado in psychology and a double minor in criminal justice and human services, I am perusing a Masters Degree at Metro State University for social work. Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy engaging infants and toddlers in a mix of indoor and outdoor activities that stimulate their senses and support development. Indoors, I like reading colorful books, singing nursery rhymes, and encouraging sensory play with textures or water. We also enjoy building with blocks, making music, and finger painting for creative fun. Outdoors, I love taking them on nature walks to explore sights and sounds, blowing bubbles, and creating chalk art. Allowing little ones to safely explore and develop coordination in a playful way.

I have had the rewarding experience of caring for children with unique needs, including a seven-year-old who was both blind and on the autism spectrum, as well as a baby with autism.
