Caring for a child in a way that says, I want to be here with you today! I absolutely do not discuss pay in front of the children, and it is always my goal to be more like a friend (with light discipline) rather than just someone who gets paid to stay with them.

My experience with special needs children...

My younger sister was born when I was 7 so for 13 years now I have lived first hand loving and caring for someone who has Down Syndrome, and int he summer of 2018, 19, i was a certified caregiver for a 16 year old with Down Syndrome, I would arrive when the mother left for work, and we would get some food made, and then summer homework, and then whatever activities would work for the weather outside.
