My experience with special needs children...
While working in the PALS program for my school, I was able to provide individuals with friendship and the support they needed while they were learning their curriculum. Also, by engaging in social activities, offering companionship, and serving as a positive role model it helped to enhance the quality of life for the students in the program. We were also provided with a course from Autism Partnership Awareness which helped me to obtain my RBT certification.
