More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I I recently had the opportunity to be a preschool teacher and absolutely loved it working with toddlers at the age of 2, but sadly due to covid things changed. I have also worked as a summer camp counselor with PRIDE. Prior to the camp required 2 months of training, practicing songs, dances and putting together activities. I also worked as a young engineer instructor, going to different schools and teaching large groups ages 8-12.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One moment that really stands out to me is when I worked as a preschool teacher with a group of 2 year olds. For only 10 minutes of of the day I would play the same video on the tv. It was a song with children doing sign language and as time went on the children started singing the words to the song and doing the sign language gestures. I found this to be interesting, seeing how well they picked it up so fast and loved seeing the progress.
