Hi! I’m 18 and I’m finishing my Senior year and Nardin Academy! Despite school and other commitments, I don’t have any strict sitting hours and am always willing to discuss dates and timing. I have always taken care of my younger cousins of all age ranges whether it was 1 or all 5 of them! I have CPR training but am in the process of trying to get the actual certification, I have a license and a car, along with the completion of drivers ed, I have been cooking since I was 10 and am always willing to learn new skills! I pride myself on matching my energy and excitement to the kids, I always found it quite easy to keep up with even the most hyper kids! I also have experience with pet care of multiple animals!

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have volunteered with Oshei Children’s hospital to help with their winter festival of trees, I helped kids of all ages and disabilities make letters to Santa! I also have experience with kids via my job at the Buffalo zoo where I talked to kids more than parents and prided myself in making the parents and their kids have a good day from the very start.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I am always willing to do whatever makes the children happiest. A go to I personally love setting up awesome movie nights, a silly karaoke dance party, or some fun crafts! But depending on time of day and weather, I’m always up for some outside play!

The most important part about being a nanny...

As cliche as it sounds, the kids feelings. I want them to feel as comfortable as possible, and I want them to at least feel safe even if they are not in the best mood.

My experience with special needs children...

At my job at the zoo I often got to help kids search of gemstones which meant the parents stood back when I got the kids excited, including special needs children as well as with volunteering and I have always found they seem to bond well with me and give the parents some relief. I do have personal experience of taking care of younger cousins who have both physical and emotional special needs,
