The most important part about being a nanny...
I think the most important part of being a nanny is really about trust. Parents need to feel confident that their kids are safe, loved, and cared for when they’re not around. For me, that means always putting safety first, being dependable, and treating the kids like I would my own — with patience, encouragement, and lots of love. I also believe it’s important to work with the parents, follow their values and routines, and be a partner in raising their kids. It’s not just about watching them, it’s about helping them feel secure, happy, and supported as they grow.
My experience with special needs children...
I haven’t had direct experience working with children with special needs yet, but I’m very open and eager to learn. I’m patient, observant, and adaptable, and I always put the child’s safety, comfort, and happiness first. I’d be happy to follow guidance from parents or training to make sure I can give the best care possible.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moments are honestly the little things — reading stories, helping with homework, or seeing kids get excited when they learn something new. With my own kids, I loved watching them discover their talents, and with the dance group, it was seeing the kids laugh and bond like a family. Those moments remind me why I love caring for children.
