Also I’ve had to pleasure for working with four amazing families outside of that (a toddler and newborn/infant, school age kids and having my own amazing child that’s 2 1/2. For me, the most important thing about being a nanny is building trust with the child and the family, and being part of the child’s development. I genuinely love watching children grow—seeing them learn new skills, gain confidence, and discover the world is incredibly rewarding. Being able to support and encourage that development each day is what makes the job so meaningful to me.

When one of the infants I nannied for started rolling over and sitting by him self. I was so happy and proud for the achievement that he made. I just kept saying “Yayy you did it!”
