A little bit about me

I'm a former elementary teacher and special needs, plus ESL teacher for Italian children. A childrens author, former nanny and tutor.
I taught both 3rd grade and 5th grade. And I am happy to work with special needs children and to tutor children in areas where they need extra attention.

I am retired now and would love to work with school age children on a part time basis, ages 3 to 10 years, where i have the most experience. I can be flexible with your schedule, just contact me and we will work something out. I am also available for caring for your children on date nights and if you have to travel. I have a small dog, very sweet and i would like her to work with me whenever possible.🐶

The most important part about being a nanny...

To enjoy interacting with children and for me to care about their physical safety and emotional safety. They come home from school and sometimes share incidences of being bullied, of not understanding what the teacher is presenting to class and as a parent, you know a variety of factors can cause your child to become upset. The most important part about being a nanny...

When i began with my nanny family, with two special needs boys, mom shared with me that she and her husband were not able to take their special needs boys to the movies or have friends over for parties. After 3 weeks of working with Patrick and Mitchell, for party at their home, after only three weeks of working with them, they were able to do both . Hearing mom share that with me has always made me feel wonderful.
