A little bit about me

I’m 51 years old, so definitely on the older side! I was a lifeguard and swim instructor for 5 years, then I taught first grade for 2 years. Afterwards, I stayed home to raise my children. They are in college now so I’d like to work with children again and be useful.
I absolutely love children, I think they are an extraordinary gift from God. I’m very patient and have enjoyed working with every age up to high school. I have less experience with high school age kids, but I’ve had practice raising my own children, as well as spending time with their friend groups.
I would have loved some help with my own children so I’m eager to be of service to someone else. I’m used to housekeeping, meal prep, everything associated with children and the running of an home. I can help with homework due to my teaching background and education. I had first aid and CPR training for years but I need to take a refresher course to be certified again.
