A little bit about me

I am a 17 year old girl who can speak both fluent in Spanish and English ! I am a very positive person who loves to keep up an energetic energy. I truly adore children and working around them, especially when in comes to teaching them how to read , write , and draw , that’s my favorite thing to do ! Although I have no experience in ‘working in childcare’ , I have cared for many of my small cousins , baby brother , and even small children who would find me in playgrounds wanting to play. I can guarantee that I’ll know what to do , and I love doing it. I don’t charge much , since I have no ‘real’ job experience. $16.50 an hour is completely okay for me , as long as I get more experience and chances to prove myself , I will be just fine ! I can work all summer since I have no upcoming events besides my birthday , and once school starts , I can work Friday through Sunday . Friday: 4pm , Saturday: 8am , Sunday: 8am . More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have cared for many of my young family members , such as my cousins and baby brother . I have even cared for many small children who would find me in playgrounds to play with me. I remember having to babysit my 8 year old cousin and 2 year old brother all through summer, so I have some experience with babysitting for a long period of time. My first time ever truly babysitting a child that I didn’t know was when I was 13. I took my little cousins to the park , and there were these two young boys already there , and a baby boy as well. They grew attached to me, and every day I would bring my cousins back to that park where those young boys would be , and I would take care of all five of them. Just a small story !

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I find myself really enjoying teaching children how to read , write and even draw ! I also enjoy outdoor activities , like drawing on the concrete with chalk , running around , and just laying down on the grass. Although, I don’t have any problem with indoor activities !

My experience with special needs children...

The closest I would get to have any kind of experience with special needs children would be when I took care of my 7 year old cousin who has high level autism. It stops him from making eye contact and communicating , having him only make certain sounds to communicate. I took care of him for a certain amount of hours , and I found it very cute to play music repeatedly to help make him happy.
