I have been a caregiver for elderly & children of all ages for 2 years professionally, I have also cared for many children by nannying for years beforehand, all throughout High School & after. Through being a military wife and a military child, I have always cared for anyone’s child who was in need, on base, off base, in Virginia, Florida, Georgia & now South Carolina.

I love teaching children how to use their motor skills to their advantage by creating items out of clay, sand, etc! They always enjoy being able to create their very own objects. It also serves them well in the long run!

What matters most is providing them with stability and security, It’s not just about making food, keeping them warm, while those are important tasks.. the real importance comes from teaching them the importance of their safety in this world. Kiddos listen and mimic what they see!

My experience with special needs children by far is the most special experience that I’ve had, I’ve worked with special needs children professionally and recreationally for 4 years. Patience is the key, they are capable of so many different things, and I have always provided comfort and guidance throughout.

My favorite moment was when my kids (12-13) a few years back learned how to crochet with me! their parents sent me pictures of their crocheted projects, including pigs, chickens, and other cute animals!
