More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was a high school chemistry teacher for two years and a middle school physical science teacher for one. I did this during college for a homeschool co-op that had hybrid based learning.
For two years I was a nanny caring for the three children of a doctor I had worked under in the ER. Before, during, and after my two years as a nanny, I was also babysitting on weekends or during breaks for other families.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing activities that are fun and engaging with children, especially those with educational implications. I think learning is fun, and I enjoy incorporating the fun into the learning in a way that they won’t even realize they’re learning!
I also enjoy planning activities for each child, as an individual. Every person, including “little people”, has a learning style and can be encouraged and supported with individualized care. I have done activities ranging from hands-on science experiments to tie dying and rock hunting. I love helping children find things to be passionate about and giving them the ability to explore those interests.

My experience with special needs children...
I had about four months of experience with special needs children, namely those on the autism spectrum. I was an in-training registered behavioral technician. My experience is rather limited, but I am willing to learn and help a child in any way I can!
