I believe the most important part of being a nanny is building a trusting, loving relationship with both the children and their family. Children deserve to feel safe, respected, supported, and understood. I want to be someone parents can depend on and someone their children feel comfortable with, while providing consistent care, encouraging development, and making their days enjoyable.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite parts of being a nanny has been the relationships I’ve built not only with the children, but with their parents, too. I love when a professional relationship grows into a genuine friendship and you become someone the family trusts and wants to stay connected with beyond the workday. Being able to spend time together outside of work, introduce the parents to my boyfriend, and share special moments with the nanny baby around the people in my own life has been incredibly meaningful to me. It makes childcare feel even more rewarding when you know you’ve become a valued part of a family’s life.
