Hi there! A little about me: I am currently studying to be a loan officer. I love traveling, being in the outdoors, and spending time with friends and family. I live an active lifestyle and like reading and writing. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I am currently a childrens ministry leader for the 7-8 year old age range in my church. In each classroom we have a total of about 10 kids and we gather every Monday where we go over Bible verses, play games, and then all do worship at the end. It is truly the highlight of my week and I love each and every one of my kiddos! I also cared for my infant cousin when my aunt and her family were living with me. I cared for her when she was just about 3 months old to a year old or so. I love all age groups and truly have a passion for caring for children.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy coloring, playing indoor and outdoors whether it be board games, or fun activities in the park. Reading to children, teaching children the alphabet, and looking at picture books is something I found that they also enjoy. I also like giving children the freedom to make up games and going along with them so that they are mentally stimulated and not drawn to using electronics.

The most important part about being a nanny...

What truly matters to me about being a nanny is building a trusting and genuine connect with not only the children, but the parents as well. I eventually would love to start my own family and I could only imagine how it must feel to have your child in someone else's care which is why I want to create a safe space where everyone feels valued and understood all while having fun and making memories. It is such a crucial aspect to a child's development and if I could make a positive impact, it would make me happier than ever :)

The most important part about being a nanny...

One funny moment I’ll never forget was when I had a set of identical twins in my ministry class. I kept mixing them up no matter how hard I tried, so I finally asked one of them if they’d wear a sticker for the day to help me out — and they were more than happy to play along! By the end of the class session, the whole class thought it was the twins' ‘superpower’ to confuse me. It was a fun reminder that sometimes, a little creativity and humor go a long way when working with kids!
