More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
My journey in childcare began in 1992, when I started working at a daycare center. For eight years, I had the privilege of supporting children’s growth and learning in a nurturing environment.
In 2000, I followed my dream and opened my own daycare, which I ran with love and joy for 15 years. During that time, I cared for children as if they were my own, creating a safe, warm, and structured space where families felt at ease and children could thrive.
Over the years, I earned my CPR and First Aid certifications and completed extensive training in food preparation for children, activity planning, and behavior management. I also attended many classes, conferences, and workshops to continue growing my knowledge and skills.
Childcare has never been just a job for me—it’s been my passion and purpose. I take pride in being patient, motherly, and caring, and I feel truly blessed to have made a difference in the lives of so many children and families.

The most important part about being a nanny...
For me, the most important part of being a nanny is providing love, care, and a sense of security for the children I look after. It’s about more than just supervising or guiding—it’s about building trust, nurturing growth, and being a steady, supportive presence in their lives.
A nanny has the privilege of shaping little hearts and minds, celebrating their milestones, comforting them through challenges, and helping them feel confident, valued, and understood. It’s also about supporting families, giving parents peace of mind knowing their children are safe, loved, and cared for.
At its core, being a nanny is about connection—creating meaningful relationships that leave a lasting impact on both children and families.

My experience with special needs children...
Throughout my 33 years in childcare, I have had the privilege of working with children with special needs, including children with autism and those who have experienced past traumas. These experiences have been incredibly rewarding and have strengthened my ability to provide patient, compassionate, and individualized care.
I adapt activities and learning experiences to meet each child’s unique needs, creating a safe and nurturing environment where they feel supported and encouraged to grow. My years in childcare, combined with my caring and motherly nature, allow me to learn quickly and work effectively with children of all abilities.
Working with special needs children has deepened my empathy, understanding, and dedication to helping every child thrive, no matter their challenges.

The most important part about being a nanny...
Some of my favorite moments as a nanny are when I arrive at a child’s home and they light up with joy just to see me, and when it’s time to leave, they don’t want me to go. That feeling of being truly loved and missed is priceless.
I also treasure knowing that the children’s parents can go to work with peace of mind, confident that their little ones are safe, cared for, and loved. Moments like these are what make being a nanny so rewarding and meaningful.
