A little bit about me

I am a 39 year old who had worked with kids of all ages in many capacities over the past 25 years! I was a nanny and housemanager for 6 years, and I have also been a camp counselor and private tutor. I have worked with children of all ages, from nannying newborns, to caring for teenagers for long term while their parents are away. I find each age special in different ways.

I am currently an administrator at an all-girls private school in Bel Air, working in student life and DEI. It is what I was meant to do, and I am privigled to be able to have an impact on these students.

My passion for children led me to becoming a big sister in the Big Brother Big Sister of Los Angeles organization! For the past four years, my little sister and I have done everything from painting pottery to going to museums to checking out concerts. This experience has been one of the most rewarding of my life!

I am looking for as needed or overtime jobs, and I look forward to meeting new families!

My experience with special needs children...

I was the primary nanny to a child with autism from the time she was 3.5-7. I was in charge of all of her education, therapies, doctors appointments, and home exercises.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Something small that always makes me smile:

I was the after-school nanny to a little girl when I loved on Long Island. Ten years later, after I had been in LA for a few years, she came out here to go to LMU. A few weeks into the year, she was having roommate drama, and she called me, asking if I could pick her up and hang out with her for a little bit. When I got there, she introducted me to her roommates as her nanny. I laughed and told her that she was 18 and didn't have to call me her nanny anymore, and she said, "You'll always be my nanny, and I really needed you. Thank you for coming."
