A little bit about me

Hello! I’m Lindsay. I am currently a preschool teacher for 18m - 2 1/2, but have worked with ages 1-7 previously! I have been in 2 different schools with different teaching styles, so I’m very adaptable to changing tactics depending on how kids learn, their needs, and what makes them happy and satisfied at the end of the day. I’m a huge fan of play based learning, keeping things light and fun, particularly when younger- when kids are more engaged and playing, they’re more likely to learn! If you’re having fun, *they’re* most likely having fun. I’m a huge advocate for positive reinforcement techniques, as through my training and practical use, it seems the best way to help children grow skills and teach them independence.
I am CPR and First aid Certified, and have had a multitude of early childhood development and education trainings in both the state of Texas and Colorado.
