More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
While I never was paid to take care of children, when my boys were growing up, we always had a houseful of their friends for sleep overs, etc. I was always involved with their teams when they played soccer, basketball, football, and baseball. I babysat my twin niece and nephew for weeks at a time., and also took care of neighbor’s children on occasion. My 12 year old grandson spends many days and nights with me.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Being outside, going for walks, hiking, exploring nature. Using our imaginations! Playing all sports. Reading books and learning. Cooking together, cleaning, arts and crafts, Play-Doh, painting, and creating masterpieces! Playing games, hide and seek, making tents, and puppet shows. As I write this, it brings back so many wonderful memories of moments that I had with my children when they were growing up.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Is to be a very positive influence in a child’s life. Teaching them manners and respect and all about life. Loving them and teaching them to be confident and responsible and respectful, all while following the wishes of their parents ... which is very important.
