More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
For seven years, I owned and operated Discovery Days, my Massachusetts-licensed Large Family Child Care program, providing hands-on care for children from infancy through school age. I managed all aspects of their daily care while creating a warm, play-based environment focused on development, learning, independence, social-emotional growth, and lots of fun!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love following a child’s age, interests, and natural curiosity! From tummy time, sensory play, songs, books, stroller walks, and floor play with babies to arts and crafts, cooking and baking, nature walks, playgrounds, imaginative play, simple science experiments, building, games, and local adventures with older children, staying engaged and sparking their interest in the world is my goal and what I enjoy most!
I love making up games or songs to match a child's interest in the moment, and allowing children to lead with their own creativity. I especially love finding opportunities for discovery, learning, creativity, and connection in everyday moments.

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is building trust—with both the children and their parents. I want children to feel safe, loved, understood, and completely comfortable being themselves, while parents feel confident that their children are genuinely cared for and in capable hands. From that foundation, everything else likw learning, independence, fun, boundaries, and all the everyday adventures, can grow naturally.
My experience with special needs children...
Throughout my years in family childcare, I cared for children with a wide range of individual developmental, behavioral, sensory, communication, and learning needs. I’m comfortable adapting routines, activities, expectations, and my approach to meet each child where they are, and I’ve worked collaboratively with parents and outside professionals to maintain consistency and support individual goals. I believe strongly in focusing on a child’s strengths while providing the patience, structure, encouragement, and flexibility they need to thrive.
The most important part about being a nanny...
It’s hard to choose just one! My favorite moments have always been the little, unexpected ones—when a child suddenly masters something they’ve been working on, asks a wonderfully funny question, or becomes completely fascinated by something we discovered together. Seeing that little spark of pride or wonder and knowing I got to be part of it is one of my favorite things about caring for children.
