A little bit about me

I am a young at heart, friendly, extremely likable 54 year old female who children seem to gravitate to. Not only have i raised a son (now 32) and practically raised my niece when she was younger but I also worked in a daycare for 3 years in the infant and toddler rooms, worked as a full time babysitter for a 7 month old until he was 3, and worked full time as a babysitter for a newborn until I became pregnant with my son. I absolutely love taking care of babies and being a part of them growing and all their milestones. I am currently looking to care for a child under the age of one so I can help and enjoy being part of their journey going into toddler years and beyond so their parents can have peace of mind while at work knowing their child is being well cared for. My availability is 11:00am or later and 3 days out of Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. Looking for approximately 25 hours. I enjoy cleaning so I also would not be opposed to light housekeeping at times.

The most important part about being a nanny...

providing loving care and stability so parents can feel at ease having to go to work. I feel that one on one attention in their home environment is more beneficial to the children as I have also worked in a daycare so I have firsthand knowledge of the situation where especially in the infant rooms some of the "easy" babies get overlooked to some degree because of having to constantly tend to the others who are crying and need more attention. The "easy" ones seemed to spend more time in a swing or a bouncy seat or things of that matter as opposed to being held or rocked etc
