The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment was picking up a 6-year-old and his siblings from school. One day, he asked me, “Do you have a job?” I smiled and realized it was one of the sweetest compliments I could receive—he didn’t even realize that caring for him and his siblings was my job. To him, I was simply someone he trusted and enjoyed spending time with.
