More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have over 25 yrs of nanny/ sitter experience as well as raising my own sons who are now grown and gone. I also have a 8 yr old grandson & 2 1/2 yr old grandson that I spend my spare time with! I do have plenty of references if needed. I have kept children of all ages and have a lot of patience. I take my job caring for your children very seriously, although I do try to keep things on the bright, fun side with them.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Reading to them, singing to them, teaching them things, taking them for walks or outside to swing or play, making sure they stay hydrated and their tummies are full, and they are happy, clean and comfortable. If there are animals around I’m ok with that as well. Also willing to do light housework.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Being honest and dependable and keeping your family as a whole, at ease & comfortable, safe and secure, and knowing that I’ve got my job under control. I pay attention to detail and keep the child/children safe and in my eyesight at all times. To be a parent and be able to feel confident that your little ones are safe, secure and happy with me is what I strive for! I am responsible and reliable and take my job very seriously!

My experience with special needs children...

Autistic children, and slow learners, Neurodiversified little ones and children that need to be held and comforted, when mommy or daddy leave or they feel uncomfortable.

The most important part about being a nanny...

When you start to leave and they just have to give you hugs! So sweet!! Also when they feel comfortable enough with me to sit in my lap and hear stories!
