The most important part about being a nanny is building a strong, trusting relationship with the children. Being a positive role model and a source of encouragement helps them develop confidence and resilience. My experience with special needs has been deeply personal, as my daughter has special needs. This journey has taught me so much about patience, empathy, and the power of unconditional love. I’ve learned to celebrate the small victories and find joy in everyday moments, no matter how simple they may seem. Advocating for her needs has opened my eyes to the importance of inclusion and understanding in our community. Connecting with other parents and caregivers has also provided invaluable support, and I’m grateful for the lessons she teaches me every day about resilience and acceptance.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments happened when I was playing with the kids outside on a sunny afternoon. We were all laughing and running around, and in that moment, I could feel a special connection between us.
