I have taken care of children from infant to 16years of age i do have a 10 years experience with children with ADHD that are on the spectrum Asthmatic and Diabetic children with mental heal ranging from depression, bipolar ,teens with IED and ODD .like i tell most patience is truly key no child is the same as the next there like snow flakes each having there own Unique way of thinking understanding and handling there thoughts and emotions im grateful to say i have that patiences and i love what i do from caring for the elderly with dementia/Alzhimer certified nurses aide /Medtech helping and caring for others has always been stamped a un denying fact of who i am . I do also have reliable transportation cpr certificate and first aide i hope to be the one that gets to care and help the way hoped for and more .
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I think art as in letting them draw paint color arts and crafts is a creative way for toddlers to teens to freely express them selves for the younger groups 1-10 outside time exercises and some self appreciation moments are good for mental health letting them speak if they want to and just seeing what works for each individual and establishing routine with time is goal all with parent approval of course .
The most important part about being a nanny...
Being a nanny is just a job it also and empathetic and genuine care and understanding of what this child needs and how to abide to your full capacity in approaching there care as requested by the parents and being the care taker you would want for your own
