My name is Olivia, I’m 24 and have a 2.5 year old daughter. I’m also married, not that, that matters… but answers the single mom question lol. I am fluent in English and speak a little Spanish as I am currently learning, and can mildly communicate in sign. I have been taking care of kids(babysitting/nannying) since I was 12 years old. I also helped my grandmother raise my younger sister. I’m definitely trustworthy, reliable, dependable, honest, loyal, kind… not trying to toot my own horn. I will prove all this when given the chance. I do have my own car and valid drivers license. I will not lie, my CPR certificate(willing to renew) is outdated, but I still know CPR. With all that in mind, I do have my daughter and need to be able to bring her with me to work.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a nanny for a family of 4. All were ages 1.5-7 when I started with them, and 4-10.5 when I moved onto the next family. I have been babysitting for a long time and have a daughter of my own. I also have been a preschool teacher for about a year now.

The bond and time spent with the children. There’s nothing like being around children’s pure joy and happiness.

My experience with special needs children...

I once took care of a girl with downs. She was an amazing child and such a sweetie, but her family ended up moving away. I also took care of a boy with turrets. He had another caretaker to do more, I was there to keep him company, make his meals, clean up after him and assist his day nurse. My daughter herself is autistic and has sensory processing issues.

The most important part about being a nanny...

When I was a nanny for the family of four, the youngest boy John Doe came up to me and said “I love you. Your like a second mommy”. Another time was when my friend brought her son John Doe2 into work who I babysat as well as another of our coworkers a decent amount. John Doe2 came running to me and body slammed me with a huge hug. When the other coworker said “hey! What am I chopper liver?” John Doe2 replied with “Olivia’s my favoritest babysitter”. Melted my heart. I could go on with so many stories but those are my top two.
