A little bit about me

I’m a new babysitter in the Kankakee area. I am CPR certified and have almost 5 year of experience babysitting. I am freshly graduated and have gotten a 4.0 every year of high school so I am very familiar with common core and and able to tutor all ages. I am an art student and love to dive into little brains and get the creative juices flowing. I love being outside, playing games, doing arts and crafts, cooking/ baking, I am always down for a dance party or a karaoke party! Fun is my middle name, I know it’s a very cheesy thing to say but I can guarantee you your kids won’t want me to leave. I am trained to babysit ages 0-17. I am skilled in accommodating children with certain mental and physical disabilities/ medical disadvantages. The most important part about being a nanny...

Treating every child as if they’re your own. I think that protecting children and communicating with children as if they are your own is really important because not only are the parents raising the next generation of geniuses but the rest of society is too. I always say “It take a village”.

My experience with special needs children...

I have babysat for children with Autism everywhere on the spectrum. Non-verbal children/ children with communication issues.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I was once babysitting for a family who had a pet Opossum…you can imagine my surprise when I went to check on one of the kids I was babysitting and saw a huge fuzz ball with a long tail just chilling on a blanket. It ended up being very friendly once I got done screaming my guts out. It’s name was ZuZu and we cuddled for the rest of the night😆😆
