Some of my favorite activities to date are the aquarium, library, park, community activities, and anything to get our creativity flowing! I love to learn so find every opportunity for such through science experiments and arts and crafts!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I've learned through my experience that the most important part of this profession is making sure that every child knows you truly care for them despite it being a job. Making a child feel seen and validated is something I strive for.
My experience with special needs children...
I've worked with many autistic children, both high functioning and completely nonverbal. I'm also familiar with Dup15q as I worked with a little boy who was diagnosed.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Having been with my current family for the past 6 years, most days feel like my favorite. Getting to parent a child that's not biologically yours and watch as they grow and change is a different kind of special. I've watched these children grow so much and it's amazing to be there for all their milestones.

Hi! My name is Laney Page, I am a Senior at GPHS. Working with children of all ages is one of my passions and I am ready to expand my work experience! My rate is $15/hr for babysitting.
I recently left my job of almost three years at my local pool as a lifeguard/ Manager/ rec swim coach. I have been CPR and First Aid certified through Ellis and Associates for all of that time.
For two of the years at the pool, I taught swim lessons to children ranging from 3-11 years old. I am open to offering swim lessons at your home, or the north shore country club only if YOU have a membership. Parent/guardian must be in attendance! I charge 50c per minute EX: 60 min session would be $30.00.
If you have multiple children that are taking lessons, I can do them in one session but it will be an additional 25c per minute per child EX: 1 hour would be $45 for 2 children, $60 for 3 children etc
I also offer pet sitting, or drop-in pet sitting, for just $12 per hour/ visit.
