A little bit about me

Hello! I am a stay at home mom. I currently have a 15 year old son & a 10 year old daughter. I have plenty of experience taking car of babies not only my own but others. I’m looking for something to do while my babies are in school. I’ve worked in schools as TA for kinder to 3 rd grade. & I taught gymnastics at the YMCA. I taught from 18 months to 12 years. I use to babysit from home when my children were little. I’m willing to be flexible with schedule. I drop my daughter at bus & drive my son to school. By 9am I’m free & have to pick up my daughter at bus by 2:40. I keep my kids busy in activities so there are days my daughter gets out later & my son is in football til late. If your ok with it I’m willing to keep them & take them with me. We moved here from California & have no family which makes hard for me with my own. So I’m willing to work with you & figure out schedules.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

First boy I cared for was Christian 4 months I took care of him til he was 1yrs old & again from 3-5yrs old.
Had 2 brothers Tyriq 2yrs old & Jayden 3months for Year & off and on again for date nights or as needed.
Also a boy Emilio 2yrs old until he started school full time.
Later I took care of Christian and his siblings again, Christian 10, Johnathan 5 they were in school so was occasionally on their vacays or days off and a set of twins, Evan boy & Jizelle girl age 1yr until they were 3yrs old.
Belvedere Elementary. Worked with kindergarten up to 3rd grade. Ocasional 4th-5th. Included arts & crafts, reading, testing and small groups.
Volunteered at pre-k school, Emmerton Elementary.
Worked with children at YMCA. Taught mommy and me gymnastics from 18 months to 5yrs old and taught an older class from 6yrs to 12yrs.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to go on walks, be outdoors. Playgrounds, swings & slides.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think would have to be the bonds made. I still am in contact with the parents and love to see how the kids grow. They are like family to me. It’s important that the kids feel safe with me & it’s like a second home. As a mom I know how scary it is to trust another person with your babies. That’s why I’ve always been stay at home mom with the ocasional jobs here and there.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think when my son was small and the boy I was babysitting went home asking his mom for milk in Spanish. Her son had picked up Spanish words and was asking for things in Spanish. She would put him on the phone so i could translate. It was cute. I wasn’t necessarily teaching him Spanish. I spoke to my son in Spanish & her son was 2yrs old so he was very inquisitive and would always ask “whats that?” Or just repeat all I said.
