I came here through the Au Pair program; I lived with a host family and cared for their children. During my first year, I looked after two boys—aged 2 years and 5 months at the time—and I stayed with them for a full year. Then, in my second year, I moved to Connecticut. I cared for a 6-year-old boy and a 6-month-old baby girl. However, my primary responsibility lay with the older child.
