hello! i'm Lydia, i'm a college student in san diego county looking for a part-time nanny position. i am someone who has always enjoyed working with kids! i have three younger sisters myself who i have babysat for years--along with a year of professional childcare experience--so i understand the importance of healthy babysitting. i'm working towards a human developmental science degree since early childhood development is such a big interest of mine. depending on the families, we can bake treats, play outside, have enrichment time, watch movies, and so much more. i was raised with babysitters so i simply hope to give back to my community.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

i have been a babysitter off and on for years. mostly for my younger siblings as my parents worked long hours. i have babysat from newborns to teenager, though i prefer the younger ones! i was employed as an elementary cheer/dance coach at schools across northern san diego county. i would coach 5-15 children per class. i learned much about different kinds of children, their personalities, their support structure, and experience with parents too. my main goal was always to keep everyone safe and having fun.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

enrichment games/reading, fort making, clean up games, water-play activities for summer, building on your child's imagination and creativity!
