Hello! I'm Lydia, 20 year-old a college student in San Diego county looking for a part-time nanny position.
(My college classes can be MWF or TUTH depending on what days you need. Until Dec 2026 my classes are MWF.)

I'm working towards a human biology degree at UC San Diego since early childhood development and biology are such a big interest of mine.

A little bit about myself: I enjoy going out on the weekends to music festivals, small art projects, and playing with my pet hamster!
I am open and quick to learn, always have a calm and positive demeanor, a hardworker, and own a vehicle with a license + registration.

I was raised by babysitters myself so I'm simply hoping to give back to my community!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have been a babysitter off and on for years. I have three younger sisters who I have babysat for years--along with months on-and-off of neighborhood childcare--so I understand the importance of healthy babysitting.

Professionally speaking, I was employed as an elementary cheer/dance coach to 5-15 kids at schools across northern San Diego county. This taught me about many different kinds of personalities, their support structure, needs, and experience with parents too. My main goal was always to keep everyone safe, learning, and having fun.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Reading, fort making, clean up games, water-play activities for summer, building on your child's imagination and creativity!
Depending on the families, we can bake treats, play outside, have enrichment/learning time, watch low stimulation films, foster independence, and so much more.

i have little experience working with autistic (non-verbal, elopement), ADHD, and anxious children during previous after-school jobs.
