In June of 3018, I was a camp counselor for two weeks with girls in junior high at a cultural camp, which is an experience I will cherish forever! I also worked for nine months as a tutoring assistant at a learning center and found that very rewarding.

I believe strongly in the role of literature in children’s development, and enjoying reading to/with the kids I nanny. I also foster light outdoor time, such as park playtime, short walks, time on bikes/scooters, etc. (And of course, reading outdoors!) I like to be engaged with the kids, but also encourage self-sufficiency in age appropriate games and tasks.
