I am a social worker and have worked for children in schools and private practice settings. I also taught children yoga and mindfulness. I have my ESOL certification teaching English as a second language to children. I taught English in Thailand for a year.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love keeping kids busy and having fun—playing at the park, going on nature walks, doing arts and crafts, or dancing and moving around together. I enjoy reading, playing games, and doing little science experiments or creative projects that make learning hands-on. I also love cooking or baking together, trying kid-friendly yoga moves, and coming up with fun ways to explore and play every day.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments as a nanny is just watching kids be completely themselves—laughing, exploring, and getting lost in the moment. I love seeing their curiosity, creativity, and pure joy, and being there to support it while they learn, play, and just enjoy being kids. Those little authentic, carefree moments are what make this job so special to me.
