Hello, my name is Mackenzie! I am a recent college college graduate who has just moved to Boston. I have been babysitting since I was in the 6th grade. I have interned at two different schools in my hometown in Connecticut. One was a preschool where I would create lesson plans, read to the children & help them engage in activities. The other was a second grade classroom where I would play games with the children during recess, help them with reading & writing & teach solo lessons to the class. I also worked at a daycare for part of high school & college. I would assist with children between the ages of six months to six years. I engaged them in play time, arts & crafts and of course, lots of reading! I absolutely adore children, I consider myself very nurturing, loving, energetic & trustworthy.

I have interned at two schools. The first was in a preschool classroom where I would create lesson plans, read to the children and assist with play time and crafts. My second internship was in a second grade classroom. I would assist with writing, reading and math skills. I also volunteered at a summer camp for 2 summers in high school. I engaged the kids in lots of arts and crafts and outdoor play time. Finally, I worked part-time at a daycare in high school. I worked with children from 6 months to 4 years. I would engage them in various activities based on their ages.
