A little bit about me

Hey- my name is Mac and I'm 27. I live in the Worcester area and have been teaching in kindergarten-8th grade classes for four years. I've been a teacher and career coach for 5 years. I am the oldest in my generation of my family and nannyed/babysat (ages newborn- 8) many of the kids in my extended family since I turned 13. I am extremely, extremely patient. I feel comfortable with all ages and levels of need. I am a good cook and would be interested in meal making/prepping depending on your family's need(s). I can do household chores of any sort but most enjoy the child care aspect of nanny work- getting lots of exercise and play time in, creating art projects for any level/attention span, and spending time in nature.

I was a teacher four four years! Ages ranging from 4-13. Additionally, I have years of experience caring for newborn-preschool aged children in and outside of my extended family. My latest job experience was working with adults with significant developmental and intellectual disabilities through my local chapter of the ARC.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Outdoor activities are the ones I love best! I love to go to the park, make silly obstacle courses, and look at different things in nature. Inside, I prefer doing artistic activities with kids- making maracas, masks, telescopes, etc. and cooking simple healthy snacks we can make together.
