Hi! My name is Madden, I was born and raised here in South Lake Tahoe. I’m looking for a family with 1-3 kids, of any ages, that are in need of a nanny! I have a very flexible schedule and would love to carry jobs through the summer. With school ending here in a couple months, I would love to become acquainted with the family and kids, and care for the kids through the summer. I have a license and a car, I am CPR and First Aid certified, as well as lifeguard and swim instructor certifications. I have been babysitting since I was 12 and I will be 18 in May! I have been babysitting for about 5.5 years, I have coordinated and taught swim lessons to children ages 2-10, including special needs children, and I have also taught horsemanship/riding lessons to children ages 5-15, also including special needs children as well.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love taking kids to the lake to encourage comfort around water, hikes through Tahoe’s gorgeous trials to introduce the outdoors, and to nearby ranches to introduce large animals and comfort around these creatures. I feel that it is very important to get kids outdoors and familiar with surroundings they wouldn’t normally see every day.

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked with children with down syndrome, autism, visual and hearing impairments, as well as conditions involving prosthetics.
