A little bit about us
My 8 year old has Type 1 Diabetes. We need a babysitter who has experience dealing with Type 1 Diabetes, as well as the skillset and licensing required to measure and administer medications. Our 10 year old loves all the Jurassic Movies, and drawing. She is very engaging while one on one, but rather shy when in public or large groups. Our 8 year old is very confident and knows her mind. She is not at all shy, and loves playing in groups, and is also very comfortable entertaining herself. She tends to make instantaneous decisions regarding new people, and rarely changes her mind. However, whoever she allows into "her" people group, are there for life. They both go to school from

In orderto care for her, I quit working. We are now at a level in her healthcare that I feel I can have a babysitter care for her, provided the babysitter has all the experience, skills, and licensing necessary. The babysitter we are looking for is someone who knows what she needs to, is able to quickly bond with our girls, and gives us, as parents, a sense of confidence and trust, so that we can leave our girls in her very capable and caring hands without that dark cloud of worry and anxiety that we get when they are out of our sight. They would need to be picked up from school, and fed. The needs our 8-year old has, we will discuss the particulars with any possible candidates.
